Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 August 2026
This policy covers pwnquest.com as it exists today: a single page that collects an email address so we can tell you once, when PwnQuest launches. PwnQuest is operated by Innovide, LLC.
What we collect
When you submit the form, we store:
- The email address you type. That is the only thing we ask you for, and the only personal detail we keep in a form you gave us.
- The date and time you submitted it.
- A one-way hash of your IP address. We do not store the address itself. It is combined with a secret value and put through SHA-256, which cannot be reversed back into an IP. It exists so that if someone floods the form with junk we can identify the pattern and clean it up.
- The two-letter country code our host reports for your connection — country only, nothing more precise. It helps us decide where to launch first.
Bot protection
The signup form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that a
submission came from a person rather than a script. It is the one thing on this site that
loads from another address —
challenges.cloudflare.com — and it runs only on the signup
form.
Turnstile is operated by Cloudflare, who already host this site, so using it does not hand your data to an additional company. It is specifically designed not to track people: it sets no advertising cookie and is not used to build a profile of you across sites. To do its job it does see your IP address and some technical signals about your browser. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that processing.
What we do not do
- No analytics, no tracking pixels, no advertising identifiers.
- No cookies from us. This site sets none — not even the ones a consent banner would ask you about, which is why there is no banner. Turnstile may set a short-lived token to remember that a challenge was already passed; it is not used to identify or track you.
- No third-party fonts or embeds. Our typefaces are served from our own domain, so no font provider ever sees your address. Turnstile, described above, is the only external request this site makes.
- We do not sell, rent, share, or trade your address. It goes to no one outside Innovide, LLC.
Why we have it
To send you one email when PwnQuest launches. You asked for that email by submitting the form, and that request is our basis for keeping the address. We are not going to start a newsletter with it.
Where it is stored
In a Cloudflare D1 database. Cloudflare hosts this site and stores the data on our behalf; they process it under their own terms and do not use it for their own purposes. No other company has a copy — we have not connected an email marketing service, and if we do before launch we will update this page before sending anything.
How long we keep it
Until the launch announcement goes out, plus 90 days. After that, addresses that have not been carried into an actual account are deleted. If PwnQuest does not launch, the whole list is deleted within 12 months of the date above.
Getting your address removed
Email hello@innovide.com from the address you signed up with, or tell us which address to remove. We will delete it and confirm within 30 days. You do not need to give a reason, and there is nothing to un-subscribe from in the meantime.
You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct it. Same address, same 30 days. Depending on where you live you may have these rights by law; we extend them to everyone regardless.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects an address we already hold, we will say so here and update the date at the top. We will not quietly repurpose data collected under this version.
